  • When launching Papers, new dialogue will appear that provides the option of opening a different library or create a new one if the current library cannot be located.

  • Fixes an issue where duplicate files remained, on the hard drive, after re-downloading the primary file of a paper.
  • Improves metadata fetching when using the bookmarklet on the PubMed webpage.
  • Fixes an issue that affected sending a paper via email using Microsoft Outlook.
  • The Read column now presents the correct value in the Column View.
  • When connected to a private deployment of Papers Online the organisation name is now correctly displayed, if set.
  • Only the sources relevant to the publication type are now displayed when editing a paper.
  • Fixes an issue that prevented the user from seeing papers being removed from a collection.
  • Fixes an issue that stopped the import process of a large selection of files if the selection included a corrupted file.

Citations

New Features

  • It is now possible to preview papers with a PDF attached using Citations' "Quick Look" option.
  • It is now possible to change the keyboard shortcut to use Citations in Citations settings.
  • A search hint is now presented according to the search filter applied.

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Citations now uses the correct text format when inserting citations in sections of the document with a different format.
  • Fixes an issue that prevented the user from completely turning off Citations.
  • Fixes an issue that affected how the bibliography was sorted according to the selected citation style.
  • Includes other reliability improvements in Citations.
