Purchasing Papers1

On March 8th 2011, Papers2 was launched, which is meant to replace Papers1.

However, Papers2 has a 10.6-only status. This was a hard decision, because we know we still have a small percentage of Papers1 users running OS X Leopard 10.5. However, supporting 10.5 had also a lot of technical consequences. In particular, with OS X Lion 10.7 coming soon. All in all, we had to make a decision and having Papers2 use OS X 10.6.x as a starting point opened up more possibilities for the software in the future.

We recognize that a number of users will still want to run Papers1, because of their OS X status. For this reason, Papers1 is still available and can be downloaded here.

If you wish to obtain a serial number for Papers1, we suggest you purchase a Papers2 serial number, after which we can provide you with a complimentary one for Papers1. Then, when you do update your OS X, you can still switch to Papers2 and enjoy all of its new features.
