Preferences - Access
Sometimes you want to have access to literature databases and journal websites outside an academic institutional network that grants access to literature. Papers allows you to do this using EZProxy library proxy servers. Proxy settings are chosen on the Access Preferences tab. Detailed instructions for setting up EZProxy access are available here.
In addition to choosing a library proxy server, you can also input an authentication URL -- it is simply a shortcut that allows you to log in quickly to the library proxy when you start up Papers.
If your institutional EZProxy server isn't included in the list, please email support@mekentosj.com !
