my ipad comes up as a device on the papers mac site, and it allows me to do a bidirecctional sync, but none of the articles (and I have heaps on my ipad which iā€™m worried will die soon) do not come across to my mac.

all my articles are on my ipad - i need to sync them asap.

do i need to purchase papers? I thought i had already

    They were both old versions 2yesrs old.. - I have upgraded the one on my Mac to papers 3 but not in the iPad as I'm scared of losing everything!

    Hi Kristin,

    I'm afraid Papers 3 for Mac can only sync with Papers 3 for iOS and we do not update or support Papers 2 anymore.

    If you have a library in your Papers 2 iOS, you can download Papers 2 for Mac here and sync them first by creating an adhoc (computer-to-computer) network which your iPhone/iPad can connect to.

    These instructions should help with the process:

    Then once your library is in Papers 2 for Mac, you can then transfer them to Papers 3 following the steps below:
