Exporting BibTex entries fail

On exporting a smart collection, I noticed that the resulting Bibtex file contains less than the number of entries that are in the Smart Collection.
I have determined that entries that are of type "Book Chapter" are not being exported.

Is that generic behaviour, did I configure something wrong, or is it related to my library?

    Hey Paul -

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out to us. I do apologize for the delay in our response to you.

Does this issue occur when you attempt to export references outside of your smart collections?

    Best,

    Cary

    Oy Cary,
Thanks for your reply, although I don't fully comprehend your question. Do
you mean: does the same issue appear when exporting from non-smart,
    collections as well?

    Hey Paul -

Thanks so much for your response. I do apologize for the confusion.

What I meant was is the issue isolated to exporting from Smart Collections? For instance, if you export your files from your main library into a .bib file, does this same issue occur?

    Best,

    Cary

Yes, the issue reproduces independently from the collection it was sourced from. I used the main library, and selected from that two papers that are not available in the smart collection, one being a book chapter, the other one being a journal paper. Only the last one was being exported. Hence, different papers, different sources, same result.

I hope you can resolve this.

    Hey Cary,

Some additional information on this issue as well.
I am able to export the "Book Chapter" type of resources, only on a one-by-one basis by selecting one and "Copy" it "as bibtext record". All records are exported as @incollection bibtext records. Not suprisingly, but confirming consistency in the behaviour.

I have recently installed version 3.2.57. No changes unfortunately in this annoying behaviour.
